Betrayal

One step forward, two steps back

running and limping, but facing is hard

muffled voices, lie from the start

I’d smile, a poker, but facing is harsh

Been dodging, been judged, but that is not enough

I’d whisper the secrets, I’d hide from the past

I’d kill the dead and rip their heads

but facing I’d stab, I’d stab it forever,

not front but from the back.

The smile, not from the heart,

Betrayal coloured my past,

I’ve only seen them depart, my parts.

I am now, what i was,

But no heart, no past

Just want to end this dark.
